, Cuyahoga Falls Cuyahoga Falls, city (1990 pop. 48,950), Summit co., NE Ohio, on the Cuyahoga River; inc. 1836. On its course through the city the river drops 220 ft (67 m) through a series of falls and rapids. , OH, has acquired CVC See CSC.  Specialty Chemicals, Inc., Moorestown, NJ. The sale includes the Epalloy[TM] specialty epoxy resins, HyPox[TM] elastomer elastomer (ĭlăs`təmər), substance having to some extent the elastic properties of natural rubber. The term is sometimes used technically to distinguish synthetic rubbers and rubberlike plastics from natural rubber.  modified epoxy resins, Erisys[TM] monomers and modifiers, and Omicure[R] catalysts and accelerators product lines. These product lines will continue to be manufactured at their current locations. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

"We are very enthusiastic about this strategic acquisition. CVC is an excellent fit for Emerald and complements our Reactive Liquid Polymers product line," says Peter M. Fielder, vice president and general manager of Emerald Specialty Polymers. The privately held CVC Specialty Chemicals was founded in 1982 by president and general manager John Cech.
