(CVC), a worldwide supplier of deposition equipment for the fabrication of thin film recording heads for the data storage industry and semiconductor devices, announced that Metron Technology, one of the world's largest distributors of semiconductor production equipment and materials, has agreed to serve as the distributor of CVC's products in Europe. Effective, October 1, 1999, Metron Technology assumed all sales and distribution responsibility of CVC's CONNEXION(R) product line for the data storage and semiconductor industries and specialty application market throughout Europe.
