CUYAHOGA METROPOLITAN HOUSING AUTHORITY: TWELVE MONTHS OF STEADY PROGRESS IN PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AT LAKEVIEW ESTATES

CLEVELAND, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Today CMHA extended the contract of the Quadel Consulting Corporation for dual management of property at Lakeview Terrace.
According to CMHA's Chief Operating Officer Ronnie Davis, "We are pleased with the results Quadel has delivered in 12 months. They have been aggressively working with the estate management and residents to put into place a solid foundation for successful property management."
Following eight years of resident management, Quadel, jointly with CMHA, stepped in to address varied property management issues including fiscal accountability, vacancy/occupancy levels, maintenance and overall appearance.
Quadel's focus has been on those systems and processes which benefit the person before tackling the bricks and mortar. To date Quadel can count among its accomplishments at Lakeview a balanced set of financial statements, a more stable community environment, increased rent collections, a five-day maximum response time for routine maintenance requests and 100 percent completion of emergency maintenance issues within 24 hours.
Quadel's present and future scope of work includes training Lakeview residents for management positions, computerizing all estate records to be compatible with CMHA's information system, and implementing a lead encapsulate program which will yield a safer environment for all Lakeview families and, together with the installation of new windows, upgrade and improve overall unit appearance.
"It is our belief," commented Davis, "that the contributions of the Quadel Corporation have moved us significantly closer toward our goal of resident empowerment through resident management at Lakeview Terrace."
