 CUSTOMS BROKER TO HOLD SEMINAR ON 'KEYS TO SUCCESSFUL IMPORTING'
 DETROIT, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, April 8, John V. Carr & Son, an international customs broker and freight forwarding firm based in Michigan, will hold a full-day seminar at the Michigan State University Management Education Center in Troy, Mich.
 It's titled "Keys to Successful Importing: The Fundamentals of Importing into the U.S." Discover the hidden costs of importing; understand the flow of goods, funds and documents through shipping and banking channels; identify the common obstacles that delay shipments; and explore the new world of Electronic Data Interchange.
 The program will begin with a continental breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by welcome and introductions at 8:30 a.m. It will conclude at 3:30 p.m.
