CUSTOMER WIN: New South Wales Department of Education and Training Expands Implementation of BMC Software IT Service Management Suite.


SYDNEY, Australia -- The New South Wales (NSW) Department of Education and Training has significantly expanded its implementation of BMC Software's (NYSE:BMC) Remedy IT Service Management Suite (ITSM).

A current user of the BMC Remedy Service Desk and Change Management solutions, the department recently also selected BMC Remedy Asset Management, a key part of the ITSM solution portfolio.

The NSW Department of Education and Training delivers high quality, internationally competitive public education and training from early childhood to the award of the NSW Higher School Certificate. It also provides TAFE NSW courses, adult and community education courses, migrant English programs, post-secondary art courses and advice to the NSW Government on higher education. The department maintains one of the largest service support environments in the southern hemisphere.
