CUSA Technologies Releases New Version of Internet Product.


SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 31, 1998--Functionality, performance and security have improved in version 1.3.2 of Home Financial Services, an Internet-based product for clients of CUSA CUSA - Carleton University Students Association (Canada)

CUSA clients and their members have used Home Financial Services since December 1997 for transactions and information sharing. The 1.3.2 release enhances much of the existing functionality and adds significant improvements in both performance and information exchange security.

CUSA Technologies, a specialized resource and subsidiary of Fiserv, Inc., provides turnkey software and hardware solutions to credit unions.

Members now may print loan, credit card and membership applications on a local printer or send completed applications via a secure SSL communication link to the credit union. Inbound mail can be viewed online via an Internet browser whose security exceeds guidelines established by the National Credit Union Administration

The new release provides improved branding capabilities and the ability to choose unique color schemes via configuration files. The look-and-feel enhancement allows credit unions to better match the Home Financial Services interface with their existing home page layout.

In addition, system response time has improved dramatically by implementing relative addressing for all image files that JAVA programming could download more rapidly.

An online demo is available at www.cusa.com. To view, select the "Products" option and then the "Home Internet Financial Services" option. Demo accounts and PINs are displayed for reference. Then select "Enter the DEMO" to access Home Financial Services screens. The demonstration uses all production equipment and software, but uses a demo database instead of a live credit union database.
