CURRYS has been unveiled as the new sponsor of The Simpsons.

The electrical chain - part of DSG International DSG International may mean:
  • DSG International (retailer) is a British retail group, formally known as Dixons Group plc
  • DSG International Ltd is a manufacturing company based in Hong Kong
 - will be sponsoring the cartoon favourite on Sky from next week as part of a 12-month deal.

The ads will feature washing machines being knocked off car roofs, a dog being used as dishwasher and other scenarios which could be taken from an episode of the show.

Currys is replacing Domino's Pizza whose deal ended last year.

It is offering anyone with the surname SURNAME. A name which is added to the christian name, and which, in modern times, have become family names.
     2. They are called surnames, because originally they were written over the name in judicial writings and contracts.
