CUNA releases red flags training package.


Credit unions can learn how to respond and detect identity theft red flags with a new training package from CUNA Cuna

Chibchan-speaking Indian people who once occupied the central region of what is now Panama and the neighbouring San Blas Islands and who still survive in marginal areas. In the 16th century they lived in federated villages under chiefs who wielded considerable power.

The downloadable Identity Theft: Red Flags Training on Demand package helps credit unions make sure they have policies and procedures Policies and Procedures are a set of documents that describe an organization's policies for operation and the procedures necessary to fulfill the policies. They are often initiated because of some external requirement, such as environmental compliance or other governmental  in place to respond to any red flag issues. The package also explains the relationships among the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act of 2003, new regulations regarding red flags and the steps credit unions must take to be in compliance.

The package contains a 30-45 minute video-like training presentation, printable workbooks and five online exams. It can be saved to a computer, DVD DVD: see digital versatile disc.
