CULTURES TO MINGLE AT FAIR.

The city's international World Fest is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Arroyo Vista Community Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road.

The festival will feature entertainment, food and vendors. Activities for children include pony rides, a petting zoo and carnival games

Carnival Games is a video game for Nintendo's Wii console. It is published by Global Star Software, which is a division of Take-Two Interactive.
. Admission to the event is free.

The following is the entertainment schedule:

10 a.m. - International flag salute led by Tres Condados Girl Scouts Girl Scouts, recreational and service organization founded (1912) in Savannah, Ga., by Mrs. Juliette Gordon Low (1860–1927). It was originally modeled after the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, organizations created in Great Britain by Sir Robert Baden-Powell during .

10:30 a.m. - O'Connor School of Irish Dance.

11 a.m. - Fantasia fantasia (făntā`zhə) [Ital.,=fancy], musical composition not restricted to a formal design, but constructed freely in the manner of an improvisation. In the 16th and 17th cent.  Simi Belly Dancers.

11:15 a.m. - Moorpark Senior Chorus.

11:30 a.m. - Peach Hill & Flory Chorus.

Noon - Santa Rosette Rosette

12:30 p.m. - Violin & Hammer Dulcimer dulcimer (dŭl`sĭmər), stringed musical instrument. It is a wooden box with strings stretched over it that are struck with small mallets. The number of strings may vary. The dulcimer is related to the psaltery and modern zither. .

1 p.m. - Delia Gonzalez Mariachi & Folklorico Extravaganza.

3 p.m. - Jewels of the Nile Belly Dancing.

3:20 p.m. - Amadeus Boys Choir.

The event is sponsored by the Ventura County Star, Carl's Junior, Careline Ambulance Service, D & D Shirts, Daland Swim School and Moorpark Community Tire.
