CULLINANE RESIGNS AS WANG LABORATORIES DIRECTOR LOWELL, Mass., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Wang Laboratories, Inc.
(AMEX: WAN) today announced that John J. Cullinane has resigned as a director of the company. In announcing his resignation, Cullinane said, "Since I agreed to join Wang's board, I have been asked to create the Boston Public Library Foundation and to consider a major new venture. These new requirements, plus completing a book on entrepreneurship, along with my numerous other public and private activities, have made demands upon my schedule, which can be resolved only by reducing my commitments.
"I am confident that Wang has chosen the right strategic direction and is making progress in implementing its initiatives. I continue to consider myself a friend of Wang, and I wish the company well as it prepares to introduce its next generation of computing solutions for the office." -0- 5/19/92 /CONTACT: Frank Ryan, 508-967-7038, or Ed Pignone, 508-967-4912, both of Wang/ (WAN) CO: Wang Laboratories, Inc.
