CUE PAGING CORP. ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT WITH MCCAW COMMUNICATIONS

IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Cue Paging Corp. today announced that the company has entered into a national distribution agreement with McCaw Communications.
Under the agreement, Cue will provide McCaw with regional and national airtime to enhance McCaw's local paging operations.
Sandra Kaiser, president of Cue, stated, "The McCaw agreement represents an important addition to Cue's distribution network. This year we added 30 new stations. We expect to add a similar number next year in the Pacific Northwest and Western states. This new coverage will enhance our ability to serve McCaw as well as our other distributors."
McCaw provides paging service in 10 states serving more than 300,000 subscribers. McCaw Paging is a division of McCaw Cellular, the largest cellular telephone company in the country, with revenue in excess of $1 billion.
Cue provides nationwide messaging service throughout North America, through the facilities of 300 FM radio stations covering more than 90 percent of the population of Canada and the United States. The company serves more than 85,000 subscribers through distributors as well as direct sales offices. Cue's distributors include leading telephone companies such as Bell South, Cincinnati Bell and Century Telephone.
In addition to paging, the Cue network is used for a variety of non-paging services. These include "PinPoint," a Differential GPS service provided in conjunction with Magnavox, a subsidiary of Philips Electronics.
