CUC International launches Internet shopping service; On-line pioneer to offer low prices on more than 250,000 brand name items at http://www.cuc.com.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 1995--CUC International, pioneers in on-line commerce for more than 15 years, today launched Shoppers Advantage, one of the largest, most comprehensive shopping services to appear on the Internet's World Wide Web.

This new on-line superstore will offer a convenient and secure way to purchase a vast array of items ranging from televisions and car stereos to perfumes and bedspreads.

Shoppers Advantage is poised to redefine the shopping experience by offering unbiased, detailed information on product features, specifications and prices for more than 250,000 brand name items. In minutes, shoppers can browse through a wide variety of products which meet their preset specifications. Purchases are conducted through a membership number, not a credit card, to insure security.
