CUC INTERNATIONAL INC. ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE CHANGES AND APPOINTMENTS TO FUEL GROWTH.

:CU) announced executive changes and appointments to fuel its growth strategy.

Mr. Christopher K. McLeod, 40, will now be devoted on a full-time basis to his responsibilities as Executive Vice President of CUC International CUC (Comp-U-Card) International Inc., a huge membership-based consumer services conglomerate with travel, shopping, auto, dining, home improvement and financial services offered to more than 60 million customers worldwide based out of Stamford, Connecticut and headed by Kirk  in the Office of the President. In addition to overseeing Comp-U-Card, Mr. McLeod will direct both the formation of CUC's Target Marketing (comprised of Welcome Wagon Noun 1. welcome wagon - a wheeled vehicle carrying information and gifts from local merchants for new residents in an area
wheeled vehicle - a vehicle that moves on wheels and usually has a container for transporting things or people; "the oldest known wheeled
 and GETKO) and CUC's international expansion. Mr. McLeod's 12 years of experience with the company also include serving, most recently, as President of the Comp-U-Card division and prior to that position as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Shoppers Advantage, Senior Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Merchandising. Mr. McLeod holds an M.S. in management from MIT's Sloan School and a B.S. in economics and engineering from Yale University Yale University, at New Haven, Conn.; coeducational. Chartered as a collegiate school for men in 1701 largely as a result of the efforts of James Pierpont, it opened at Killingworth (now Clinton) in 1702, moved (1707) to Saybrook (now Old Saybrook), and in 1716 was , where he graduated magna cum laude cum lau·de

Assuming Mr. McLeod's responsibilities as President of the Comp-U-Card division will be Mr. Anthony L. Menchaca, 39. Prior to his promotion, Mr. Menchaca served as President of Travelers Advantage for three years. Since joining CUC International in 1985, Mr. Menchaca has also served as Executive Vice President of Shoppers Advantage, Executive Vice President of the Interactive Services Group and Assistant to the President. He holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. from General Motors Institute.

In addition, Mr. Vincent R. D'Agostino, 40, has been named President of Benefit Consultants, Inc. Mr. D'Agostino, who has held numerous managerial roles during his 14 years with the company, most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Shoppers Advantage. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School Harvard Business School, officially named the Harvard Business School: George F. Baker Foundation, and also known as HBS, is one of the graduate schools of Harvard University. , an M.S. in Statistics and a B.S. in Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, at Troy, N.Y.; coeducational; founded and opened 1824 as Rensselaer School; chartered 1826. It was called Rensselaer Institute from 1837 to 1861. .

The company also announced that Mr. James C. Duff James C. Duff is the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts. , 43, has been named Senior Vice President and General Manager of Shoppers Advantage. Prior to assuming his new role, Mr. Duff served as General Manager of AutoVantage. During his 14 years with the company, Mr. Duff has held a broad range of management positions including Vice President of Operations for CUC CUC Cuban Convertible Peso (ISO currency code)

 Travel and Vice President of Software Development. Mr. Duff holds a B.S. in mathematics education from Ohio State University Ohio State University, main campus at Columbus; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1870, opened 1873 as Ohio Agricultural and Mechanical College, renamed 1878. There are also campuses at Lima, Mansfield, Marion, and Newark. .

Assuming Mr. Duff's responsibilities as head of AutoVantage will be Mr. Jeffrey E. Epstein. Mr. Epstein, 38, joined CUC in February of 1995, and was formerly responsible for new business development. His experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer of King World Productions from 1988-1994 and a merger and acquisitions specialist at First Boston. Mr. Epstein graduated summa cum laude sum·ma cum lau·de

CUC International also promoted Mr. Richard J. Fernandes, 37, to Executive Vice President of Interactive Services, from Senior Vice President. Since assuming the responsibilities of the interactive division in 1993, Mr. Fernandes has been instrumental in expanding the company's business with online networks, the Internet and interactive television. During his 10 years with CUC International, Mr. Fernandes has served as Senior Vice President of CUC's Auto Services, Vice President of New Product Development and Director of Data Processing. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in engineering from Princeton University.

Mr. Scott R. Hancock, 43, has also been promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager of the CUC Travel division. Mr. Hancock has been with the company for seven years and has played an integral role in the success of the travel division. Mr. Hancock holds a B.S. in business administration from Miami University of Ohio.
