:CTS) today announced that CTS Automotive Products was awarded two additional production programs by a global vehicle manufacturer for its Seat Belt Tension Sensor (BTS BTS - Bug Tracking System ). One of the awards is for three new vehicles, and one is for a follow-on program. All of the vehicles will be built and sold in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .

CTS will manufacture the BTS units at its Elkhart, Indiana facility starting in the spring of 2007, with sales estimated at $12 million over the life of the programs.

Introduced in 2003, CTS' BTS is currently featured on 39 vehicles. The BTS provides a key input signal to a vehicle's Occupant Classification System, which classifies front passenger-side occupants and selects the airbag deployment strategy.
