), following its board meeting on June 15, 2001, announced today the appointment of John Birbeck as a director of the Company.

Mr. Birbeck has a strong entrepreneurial sales and marketing background within the global telecommunications market. He was a founding member and director of Network Alchemy alchemy (ăl`kəmē), ancient art of obscure origin that sought to transform base metals (e.g., lead) into silver and gold; forerunner of the science of chemistry.  Ltd., which was a pioneer in the development of VoIP soft switches. Network Alchemy was acquired by Lucent and recently spun off into Avaya Communications where he held the position of Distribution Director.
