Wireless Building Displays Latest Consumer and Enterprise Developments

 WIRELESS 2007[R], the world's largest event for the wireless industry, will offer attendees an opportunity to experience the CTIA Wireless Building, a massive structure uniting the latest wireless products and solutions for residential and commercial uses. CTIA WIRELESS takes place March 27-29 at the Orange County Convention Center The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is the primary public convention center in Central Florida. The large complex is located on International Drive, a major tourist area in Orlando, Florida.  in Orlando.

Spanning several thousand square feet, the Wireless Building, located in Hall D, will prove to be one of the most educational and entertaining venues at the conference. Specialized areas showcasing wireless solutions include a retail store, executive office, cafe and an apartment next door featuring a living room, home office and bar area. The Wireless Building will host the most significant assembly of enterprise- and consumer-related wireless technologies ever displayed in one place.

"The promise of digital integration and wireless connectivity is here, and it's everywhere around us: on the street; in our communities; in stores; homes; and office buildings. This year the Wireless Building brings the best of these technologies together under one roof so that attendees can see what is available today, and what is to come."

The enterprise side of the Wireless Building will feature retail areas, a cafe and an executive office showcasing vertical retail applications including near field communications Field Communications was a division of Field Enterprises, which owned the Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Daily News. Among the exhibits will be Motorola's WiMAX solutions, designed to support fixed, portable, nomadic See nomadic computing.  and mobile applications as well as IPTV solutions, enabling service providers to offer subscribers the ultimate in-home video experience - high definition TV, video on demand and home media networking.

Throughout the Wireless Building Spotwave's SpotCell 2500X3 will seamlessly bring outdoor wireless signal inside - ensuring cell phones, PDAs and 3G laptop air cards work reliably indoors.
