CTIA WIRELESS 2007 Announces 2nd Annual "Fashion In Motion" College Scholarship for Technology, Fashion & Design Students.

 WIRELESS 2007 Fashion Show Highlights Latest Wireless Fashion and Devices

WASHINGTON -- CTIA WIRELESS 2007, the premier event for everything wireless, today announced they are accepting submissions for the second annual Fashion In Motion Scholarship Award Program for college technology, fashion and design students. The focus of this student or class project is to combine wireless technology and fashion to produce products with a vision of the future in wearable wireless communication technology.

Participants are encouraged to submit their designs of either existing or prototype products, to be judged by leaders from the technology and fashion industries. Selected products will be featured at Fashion In Motion taking place during CTIA WIRELESS March 27-29, 2007 at the Orange County Convention Center The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is the primary public convention center in Central Florida. The large complex is located on International Drive, a major tourist area in Orlando, Florida.  in Orlando. The winner will be showcased in the finale runway runway: see airport.  show and receive a $10,000 scholarship provided by CTIA.

Fashion In Motion is a couture-style daily runway show, where models will display the wireless devices and accessories on the market today, as well as futuristic fu·tur·is·tic

Entries will be judged on the following criteria: innovation and creativity; viability; applicability to culture and lifestyle; and fashion and style. Entry submissions should be sent to Bonnie bon·ny also bon·nie

Last year's winner of the $10,000 Fashion In Motion Scholarship was Manon Maneenawa of the University of Bridgeport University of Bridgeport is a private, non-sectarian university in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. Its campus is located in South Bridgeport on Long Island Sound. The University offers undergraduate, graduate, and health sciences programs. , for his prototype design of the Triple Watch Cell Phone.
