Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. Steve Largent offered the following comments today in response to media reports of wireless phone records being illegally obtained on the Internet: "Obtaining and selling customer call records is an act of fraud on consumers and wireless phone companies and should be vigorously prosecuted by state and federal law enforcement authorities. "The wireless industry goes to great lengths to protect its customers' privacy. We urge the appropriate government authorities to take action necessary to shut down this illegal activity and severely punish pun·ish v. pun·ished, pun·ish·ing, pun·ish·es v.tr. 1.
