), today announced three executive promotions - Lynn C. Blackwell to vice president of legal and corporate affairs for CTG Resources; Russell F. Leavitt, Jr. to vice president, administrative services for CTG Resources; and Jean S. McCarthy to vice president, human resources The fancy word for "people." A graduate of Western Connecticut State University Western Connecticut State University (Western, WestConn or WCSU) is a public university in Danbury, Connecticut.  Law School, Blackwell is a member of the CTG team that is handling the ongoing Adriaen's Landing negotiations. She also serves as vice chair of the Connecticut Housing Investment Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to affordable housing, and is chair of the American Gas Association Labor Relations Committee. She resides in South Glastonbury with her husband Jeff.

As vice president of administrative services, Russell Leavitt will continue to be responsible for information technology, credit and collections, and facilities. During the upcoming relocation necessitated by the Adriaen's Landing development, Leavitt will coordinate the relocation of the corporate headquarters and operations center. He serves as president of the local chapter of the Society for Information Management. Leavitt is a resident of Farmington where he lives with his wife Karen and their three children.

Having joined CTG Resources in 1995 as its director of Human Resources, Jean McCarthy's expanded role includes organizational development, employee relations, training, diversity, compensation, and benefits planning. McCarthy is a graduate of the University of Hartford School of Business and the University of Hartford Barney Executive MBA MBA
