CTG Named Implementation Partner For Longview Solutions' Khalix Software Package.

BUFFALO, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 1998--CTG, a leading information technology (IT) services company, has signed a partnership agreement with Longview Longview.

1 City (1990 pop. 70,311), seat of Gregg co., E Tex.; inc. 1872. It is a manufacturing, business, and distribution center for the rich East Texas oil field. The city has oil and natural-gas wells and processing facilities, and plants making railroad cars, oil-field equipment, trailers, and machinery. It is also a livestock center with annual horse and cattle shows. Pine lumbering was formerly important to the area.
Solutions, developers of Khalix(TM), one of the leading integrated financial management software solutions.

Under the multimillion-dollar, multiyear agreement, CTG will be the primary provider of implementation services for Khalix installations worldwide. Khalix is an integrated financial management software package used by some of the world's largest private, industrial and commercial companies. The software integrates consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting and multidimensional analysis within one application. Khalix also offers strong multicurrency capabilities and optimum flexibility, providing a strategic edge for companies faced with the Year 2000 and Euro currency standardization challenges.

The partnership will enable both firms to benefit from the projected growth of the Enterprise Resource Planning and Enterprise Resource Analysis markets. According to International Data Corp. and Gartner Group Inc., the worldwide market for solutions such as Khalix will grow by more than 30 percent over the next five years.

The market research firms project that the European market will grow considerably faster than North America's, in the 42 to 45 percent range. Driving European growth is the perceived need for European companies to catch up on their IT investments, the fast-approaching Euro currency standardization, the globalization of previously nationally based businesses, and the increasing interest of Eastern European companies in purchasing enterprise software solutions.

"Longview is increasingly being selected to provide worldwide, complex, multi-entity installations of Khalix to some of the world's largest corporations. CTG has a proven ability to support these types of initiatives," said Matthew Townley, president and chief executive officer of Longview. "Our years of experience in the financial arena, coupled with CTG's depth of resources and proven ability to respond to clients' IT needs, make for a natural synergy between our companies that will benefit our growing international client base."

"We are pleased to be working with Longview under this agreement," said CTG Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Gale S. Fitzgerald. "We realize that financial planning and analysis are critical to the success of a business, and more companies are realizing the value Khalix offers."
