 CTG ANNOUNCES SECOND QUARTER RESULTS
 Buffalo, N.Y., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Task Group,

Incorporated (NYSE: TSK) (CTG), today reported record revenue and operating income for its second quarter ended June 30, 1992.
For the three months ended June 30, 1992, revenues were $76 million, an 8 percent increase over the $71 million of a year ago. Operating income was $3.3 million, a threefold increase over 1991's level of $1.1 million. Earnings per share (EPS) were $0.17, versus the $0.06 EPS of a year ago -- an increase of 183 percent.
For the six months ended June 30, 1992, revenues were $152 million, a 7 percent increase over 1991's level of $141 million. Operating income was $6.5 million, an increase of 50 percent over the $4.3 million of a year ago. Earnings per share were $0.34, versus $0.27 -- an increase of 26 percent.
In discussing the results for the quarter, David N. Campbell, chairman and chief executive officer, stated, "Our improving financial performance reflects the continued pickup in business activity that we started to see late last year. The rebound in the Northeast continued this quarter with a good showing from both new and existing customers. Our international business was also highlighted by several multimillion dollar contracts. In particular:
-- Readers Digest contracted with CTG in the UK to migrate data centers now located in five European countries into one site located outside of London, using a combination of CTG US and European consulting groups.
-- A major petroleum company has contracted with CTG in Europe to develop a refinery information system for three refineries. The development team consists of staff from CTG's oil and gas consulting group in California as well as communications consultants from the US and Europe.
"Our improvement in operating income and earnings can be attributed to the organizational steps we took late last year to better focus the company on providing customers with enterprise-wide information solutions. We remain confident that this strategy will help us achieve our goal of improved revenues and earnings for 1992 and beyond."
