) announces that Jamie-Lyn Bacon of Tonawanda, New York The name Tonawanda refers to several locations in Western New York. Its use confuses even the people who live in nearby Metro Buffalo communities.

, has been selected as the winner of the 2008 Career and Technical Education (CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion) The difference between the way two materials expand when heat is applied. Bacon is enrolled in the fall at Bryant and Stratton Bryant and Stratton is a proprietary college with campuses in New York, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. Bacon's design was selected from more than 600 entries submitted by students from across the country. Her design, which incorporates this year's theme "CTE: Discovering Skills for a Competitive

Workforce," will showcase national CTE Month, February 2008. Her design will be featured on thousands of 2008 CTE Month promotional products which are ordered by schools and institutions around the country.
