CT and Serengeti Announce Integration Between Service of Process and Matter Management Systems; Enables CT's Service of Process Information to Connect Directly with Serengeti's System, Saving Time and Increasing Efficiency.

NEW YORK CITY & BELLEVUE, Wash. -- CT and Serengeti today announced the successful integration of CT's service of process service of process n. the delivery of copies of legal documents such as summons, complaint, subpena, order to show cause (order to appear and argue against a proposed order), writs, notice to quit the premises, and certain other documents, usually by personal delivery to the defendant or other person to whom the documents are directed. system with Serengeti's matter management system for greater automation, easier collaboration and more efficiency in responding to and managing litigation. Using CT's Universal Service of Process Connector, CT customers can automatically pull service of process details directly from their CTAdvantage.com registered agent accounts into Serengeti's Service of Process Matter Management Module. Serengeti's new module allows companies to automatically route the data to existing matters or efficiently create new matters, and then track response deadlines. E[acute accent]As a registered agent, CT receives and processes millions of legal documents (lawsuits, subpoenas, etc.) daily. In the past, clients often spent a significant amount of time manually copying service of process documents and information into their matter management systems to track their deadlines and responses. The connector, based on XML technologies, enables CT registered agent customers to integrate service of process details and imaged documents directly into Serengeti's matter management system for immediate processing by corporate clients. E[acute accent]The first client of both systems to use the new integrated functionality is Pulte Homes, a Fortune 150 Company and one of the nation's largest homebuilders. "We are delighted that CT and Serengeti have worked together to provide this new integration," said Ellen Padesky, Pulte's Corporate Counsel. "This not only saves us a significant amount of time, but also helps us to act more quickly to respond to court deadlines." E[acute accent]This system integration enables corporate law departments to benefit from the following key functionalities:

E[acute accent]--On-demand service of process downloads from CT to Serengeti of imaged documents/transmittal data;

E[acute accent]--Hourly alerts from Serengeti to the corporate client when new information is ready for processing;

E[acute accent]--Automatic service of process routing to existing Serengeti matters that have the same Case Number;

E[acute accent]--Efficient creation of new matters in Serengeti as necessary, populated with service of process information from CT; and

E[acute accent]--Tracking of response deadlines in Serengeti, including personal dashboard and e-mail alerts to responsible individuals

E[acute accent]"This new functionality will be of real benefit to the many corporate law departments on Serengeti for whom CT is the registered agent," said Don Murray, the president of Serengeti. "By delivering information directly from the registered agent into the client's matter management system, important records can't slip between the cracks, costs associated with re-entering data are eliminated, and corporate clients can immediately deal with new legal documents." E[acute accent]"CT is committed to offering legal professionals a suite of integrated solutions that fit into their workflows, save them time and increase efficiency," said Gene Landoe, president and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services. "We recognize that our customers have a full range of solutions from which to choose when it comes to matter management and e-billing. Whether it be Serengeti, or our own CT suite of matter management solutions, or another platform, we want our registered agent customers to benefit from an integrated workflow that makes managing their litigation process faster and easier. We do just that with the Universal Service of Process Connector, and are excited to work with Serengeti." E[acute accent]Neither service provider is charging additional fees for the use of this new functionality.
