According to the LEDES Oversight Globalization Sub-Committee, the LEDES file formats are "intended to serve as a standard file format to be used in the legal industry for the electronic exchange of information." With the addition of LEDES-Enabled XML 2.0, CT TyMetrix is poised to help corporate legal and insurance claims departments better handle their globally-dispersed operations and law firm relationships. These rules are as important to our globalization effort as is the adoption of the XML 2.0 standard, allowing clients and law firms to comply with local tax regulations. CT TyMetrix's inclusion of XML 2.0 will allow corporate legal and claims professionals, as well as law firms to be in compliance with local audit procedures."
