CT Motion, a leading developer of location-based services announced today that it has completed installation of it's Cellebrity(TM) services platform for Australian Application Service Provider (ASP), L4 Mobile.

This marks the first commercial deployment by an ASP of a location-based services platform in the region. L4 Mobile will be providing Australian wireless operators with the opportunity to offer high value location-based services to business and consumer customers.

The Cellebrity(TM) platform, which is due to be piloted in the last quarter of this year, has the capability to transform a cellular network, regardless of platform or protocol, into a powerful medium for location-based information delivery and commercial transaction processing Updating the appropriate database records as soon as a transaction (order, payment, etc.) is entered into the computer. It may also imply that confirmations are sent at the same time.

Transaction processing systems are the backbone of an organization because they update constantly.
. The contract, signed earlier this year, is expected to generate millions of dollars in revenues for CT Motion over the next few years.

The Cellebrity(TM) location-based services platform enables mobile operators and ASPs such as L4 Mobile, to position themselves at the forefront of the converging wireless and Internet markets. By interfacing with the operator's cellular infrastructure and Internet application and content providers, Cellebrity(TM) delivers next-generation interactive location-based services to mobile users.

L4 Mobile is planning a number of location-based m-commerce services ranging from mobile yellow pages to targeted promotional coupons. One of the first services to be deployed for the Australian market will be CT Motion's Mobile Command Center The Mobile Command Center, or MCC for short, is a fictional vehicle from , a series of military-themed toys from Hasbro. It is part of the 1987 edition of the toyline. It is the mobile land base of the G.I. This service utilizes standard digital network capabilities and interactive handset functionality to enable organizations with mobile workforces a monitoring capability, intelligent dispatching and interactive information flows. The MCC also allows remote access to company information files directly from the worker's cellular handset.

"L4 Mobile is proving to be a great business partner for CT Motion in the Asia Pacific region. We are continuing to work closely with them to offer some of the most innovative and state-of-the-art location-based services in the world," said Guy Talmi, vice president marketing of CT Motion. We are continuing to build on our presence in the region and are examining new opportunities to work with cellular providers and ASPs to develop innovative new value-added location-based services."

"We are very excited about this new opportunity to offer ASP-provided location-based services for the Asia Pacific market," said Grant Boydell, chief executive of L4 Mobile. "We are delighted to be working with CT Motion -- we believe in this technology and we feel that our relationship is going to help us get ahead in what is fast becoming an aggressive growth market."
