 CSW ENERGY AND PARTNERS TO BUILD COLORADO COGENERATION PROJECT
 DALLAS, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Central and South West Corporation (NYSE: CSR) said today that its CSW Energy, Inc. unit will participate in a limited partnership to build a cogeneration facility near Brush, Colo.
 CSW Energy, ARK Energy, Inc., of Laguna Hills, Calif., and CTI Partners II of Boulder, Colo., have formed Brush Cogeneration Partners to develop, build, own and operate the plant.
 The 68-megawatt, gas-fired Brush II plant will generate electricity for Public Service Company of Colorado and high-pressure steam and hot water for heating an adjacent, 18-acre greenhouse complex, which grows tomatoes and other vegetables.
 The plant will consist of one General Electric Frame 6 combustion turbine generator, one GE steam turbine generator and one Vogt heat recovery system generator. It will be built by United Engineers and Constructors. It is to be in operation by April 1994.
 CSW Energy will own 48 percent of the project. CTI will own 50 percent, and ARK will own 2 percent.
 Central and South West Corporation is a Dallas-based public utility holding company. It owns four electric utility subsidiaries that serve more than 5.8 million people in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.
 Central and South West also owns Transok, Inc., an Oklahoma intrastate natural gas pipeline company, Central and South West Services and three other subsidiaries.
