CSUN WINS BIG : CSUN 101, IDAHO STATE 87.

Cal State Northridge's men's basketball team received a season-high 53 points off the bench during a 101-87 victory over Idaho State on Saturday night in Big Sky Conference play at Pocatello, Idaho Pocatello (IPA: [po kə tɛ lo]) is the county seat and largest city of Bannock CountyGR6 .

The victory for the Matadors (11-15, 7-9 Big Sky), in front of 1,342 at the Holt Arena Holt Arena is an indoor multi-purpose athletic stadium located on the campus of Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. It is the home field of the Idaho State Bengals of the Big Sky Conference and sits at an elevation of 4560 feet (1390 m) above sea level. , came in their final regular-season game. CSUN freshman guard Carl Holmes had a team-high 18 points off the bench in just 19 minutes. The Matadors' other double-digit scoring scorers were guard Greg Minor (17 points) and Trenton Cross (17), forwards Mike O'Quinn (13) and Jeff Parris (10) and center Brian Heinle (15). Guard Lucky Grundy had a career-high 11 assists.

Idaho State (6-20, 2-14) was led by guard Tywan Meadows, who had a game-high 23 points. The game was the last for the Bengals this season and for coach Herb Williams, who has resigned.
