CSUN (15-9, 7-5) update: The Matadors have clinched their best season since they went to Division I in 1990-91. Tonight's game is the first of four consecutive on the road to close the regular season; CSUN went 4-1 in road games down the stretch two years ago and clinched a spot in the Big Sky tournament. CSUN leads the Big Sky in two key categories: scoring (84.1) and turnover margin.

Eastern Washington (8-14, 5-7) update: The Eagles have lost two in a row, including 66-62 on Saturday to last-place Sacramento State. EWU still has one of the conference's best backcourts in senior Shannon Taylor (15.5 ppg) and junior point guard Deon Williams. Williams torched CSUN for a season-high 25 points in an 85-79 win over the Matadors on Jan. 9.
