CSUN UPDATE: STUDENTS WILL TAKE BACK FOOTBALL FUNDING.

The Cal State Northridge students will take back some or all of the money generated for football from a 1995 fee referendum and redirect it to other student activities.

``That's a guarantee - we're just trying to figure out how much,'' said Tari Hunter, CSUN's student body president.

That could be a lot - somewhere in the neighborhood of $480,000 - which would be a blow to the athletic department. The fee referendum of $27 per semester se·mes·ter
