CSUN UPDATE: PARRIS, BUSCH RUN AFOUL AS STARTERS.

Byline: Jill Painter Staff Writer

Cal State Northridge forwards Jeff Parris and Joey Busch have repeatedly ended up on the bench because of early foul trouble.

That's where they'll start tonight.

CSUN CSUN California State University Northridge  coach Bobby Braswell Bobby Braswell, an American basketball coach, is currently the head coach for Cal State Northridge. Braswell was named the fourth head coach in Northridge history on April 30, 1996, succeeding the retired Pete Cassidy.  said he's tried everything to keep his starting forwards out of foul trouble. Everything except not starting them.

Senior guard Carl Holmes will start at one forward spot for CSUN (4-3) against Wyoming (4-0) tonight in Northridge. Braswell said he had not decided who will start as the other forward.

``This has something to do with us getting (Parris and Busch) out of the starting lineup For the line of action figures, see .
A starting lineup in sports refers to the set of players actively participating in the event when the game begins. The players in the starting lineup are commonly referred to as starters, whereas the others are substitutes
so they're not getting in foul trouble early,'' Braswell said. ``I think we'll probably go with Carl in there somewhere and have one of those guys coming off the bench so we don't have to worry about getting both of our post guys in trouble.''

Holmes started 21 of 30 games last year but has yet to start this season. He's usually the first player off the bench. Braswell has used the same starting lineup in seven games - center Brian Heinle, Busch, Parris, point guard Markus Carr and shooting guard The Shooting guard (SG), also known as the two or off guard,[1] is one of five traditional positions on a basketball team. Players of the position are often shorter, leaner, and quicker than forwards.  John Burrell John Buster Burrell (born November 22, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas) was an American football wide receiver in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Washington Redskins.
