This season's Cal State Northridge men's basketball schedule is full of by changes, mostly because the Matadors are competing in the Big West Conference for the first time.

CSUN CSUN California State University Northridge  opens the season against the University of Nevada University of Nevada could refer to either of the universities in the Nevada System of Higher Education:
  • University of Nevada, Reno (UNR)
  • University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV)
 at home Nov. 17. Its farthest road trip is to Washington, D.C., where it will play Howard University on Nov. 26.

CSUN plays at Wyoming, San Diego State and Brigham Young in December. The Matadors won't play in any tournaments this year. They open the Big West season against Utah State on Dec. 20 in Logan, Utah.

Neither USC An abbreviation for U.S. Code.  nor UCLA is on the Matadors' schedule this year.

Dec. 22 *University of Idaho The university was formed by the territorial legislature of Idaho on January 30, 1889, and opened its doors on October 3, 1892 with an initial class of 40 students. The first graduating class in 1896 contained two men and two women.   Moscow, Idaho 7:07 p.m.

March 7-9 Big West Tournament Anaheim Convention Center Anaheim Convention Center is a major convention center in Anaheim, California. It is located across from the Disneyland Resort on Katella Avenue. Much of the Anaheim Convention Center has been renovated in recent years with state-of-the-art facilities.
