The Cal State Northridge women's tennis team won its first Big Sky Conference championship with a 4-1 victory over Weber Weber, river, United States
Weber (wē`bər), river, c.125 mi (200 km) long, rising in the Uinta Mts., N central Utah, and flowing north and northwest to join the Ogden River at Ogden. The combined stream flows to the Great Salt Lake.

 Setiawati and Shaheen Bhanji all won their matches. Simonyan, Reiner and Setiawati all won in straight sets. Weber State didn't finish at No. 4 and No. 6 singles.

Simonyan and Reiner beat Therina Steenkamp and Claudia Oropeza 8-6 at No. 2 doubles and Kaasalainen and Setiawati outlasted Dana DeLancey and Veronica Reynosa, 9-7.

Weber State had won 10 of the past 16 Big Sky titles.
