CSUN SETS ON-THE-SPOT ADMISSIONS.

CSUN CSUN California State University Northridge  will hold ``Instant Admissions Day'' today for qualified, college-bound high school students and transfer students.

Accepted students will be notified on the spot of their eligibility for admission to California State University, Northridge CSUN offers a variety of programs leading to bachelor's degrees in 61 fields and master's degrees in 42 fields. The university has over 150,000 alumni. It's also home to a summer musical theater/theater program known as TADW (TeenAge Drama Workshop) that leads teenagers through an , next fall.

Instant admissions will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the University Student Union on the east side of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge.

Free parking will be available in the parking structure at Zelzah Avenue near Lassen Street. A special shuttle will take students to the Union.

To participate, students must have a completed California State University Enrollment
 application with the $55 fee (check or money order) or a completed fee waiver The voluntary surrender of a known right; conduct supporting an inference that a particular right has been relinquished.

The term waiver is used in many legal contexts.
