(Hawaii-Hilo) sent us a letter a couple months ago saying they were interested.'' CSUN, a member of the WAC from 1993-96, plays as an independent. Hurd said no one from CSUN called him regarding potential membership. Bubb said previously the school was interested in pursuing an allegiance with the WAC but would wait to hear from the league.
