CSUN LOSES 4TH IN A ROW LONGEST SKID SINCE 2002-03.Byline: GERRY GITTELSON Staff Writer IRVINE -- Cal State Northridge's fortunes took another tumble after its fourth consecutive defeat Saturday, an uninspired 75-66 Big West Conference loss at UC Irvine before 4,374 at Bren Events Center The Bren Events Center is the on-campus multipurpose indoor arena in Irvine, California. It is home to the University of California, Irvine Anteaters basketball and volleyball teams. It seats 4,984 for basketball and up to 5,608 for concerts. . The skid is Northridge's longest losing streak since 2002-03, but with six games remaining, the Matadors (10-12, 3-6) believe their best days lie ahead. ``We're not ready to give up,'' guard Tre Peters said. ``We've just got to play Northridge basketball -- hard defense and running up and down the court. I feel like we're still hungry.''
