As the leading provider of Bluetooth technology, with a design share of over 60 percent and a volume share of almost 50 percent, CSR has an important role to play at the SIG. Robin Heydon is a technical consultant for CSR and, in his position on many technical committees at the SIG, has played a driving role in the continued development of the Bluetooth standard. The BARB is the highest technical committee within the Bluetooth SIG and the appointment of Heydon as its Chairman reflects the contribution Robin and CSR have made to the development of the Bluetooth specification. Robin is a regular speaker at Bluetooth technology seminars around the world and is currently based in the R&D group at CSR's headquarters in Cambridge, UK. Prior to his employment at CSR, Robin worked in the computer gaming and toy industry. He graduated from Manchester University in the UK and holds an honours degree in computer science. Kristine Overlaur is the Technical Marketing Manager, North America, for CSR and her key role at CSR is to support the cellular customers in North American North American named after North America.
