CSR Adds techMARK Achievement of the Year Award to 2004 Accolades.

The techMARK Achievement of the Year Award, which recognises the top performing companies in the quoted technology industry, was collected by Richard Ord, Vice President of CSR's Bluetooth Business Unit, at techMARK's recent awards dinner. CSR's BlueCore Bluetooth solution has been chosen for more than 60 percent of all Bluetooth product designs and the company currently holds a 47 percent market share in all Bluetooth silicon with over 60million chips shipped. The company has also started shipping its BlueCore4 silicon, launched in June 2004, which was the first Bluetooth solution to qualify to the v2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) An acronym occasionally used to reflect an advancement in transmission or transfer speed.
