For the nine months ended Sept. 30, 1996 the company reported a net loss of $98,000, or $.02 per share, as compared with $1,585,000, or $.40 per share, in the prior year period. Net sales for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 1996 were $9,250,000 as compared to $11,985,000 in the prior year period. "The results of the company's operations for the first nine months of the 1996 reflect the streamlining of our product line and the implementation of significant cost cutting measures, which have yielded increased gross margins," stated Scott Searle, CSL's president.
