CSI-MAXIMUS Introduces Suite of Internet-based Fleet Management Enterprise Applications.

CSI-MAXIMUS (NYSE:MMS) announced today the availability of a suite of fleet enterprise applications (FEAi(TM)).

This new generation of fleet management systems harnesses the power and functionality of a mainframe application and gives users access to the system over the Internet, in either a client/server or browser-based environment. The FEAi(TM) from CSI-MAXIMUS incorporate the latest Internet technologies to give both public and private sector fleet organizations greater flexibility in system deployment.

An Internet-based solution with flexibility

A fleet organization can deploy fleet management enterprise applications over the Internet or over its own intranet network. For additional flexibility, the FEAi(TM) system software can be configured to run in a client/server computing environment or in a browser-based environment, based on Microsoft Distributed Network Architecture (DNA) using XML-based technology. FEAi(TM) system software is designed to work with Sequel Server, Oracle, and DB2 databases.

The entire suite of CSI-MAXIMUS FEAi software uses proven CSI-MAXIMUS interfaces to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems from major ERP software developers including SAP financials, PeopleSoft financials and Oracle financials. Since FEAi(TM) software is designed expressly for fleet maintenance management, its processes and business logic are attuned to the needs of the fleet environment.

VehiCare awards CSI-MAXIMUS 5-Year Application Service Provider

(ASP) Contract

VehiCare, a provider of fleet maintenance services, is the second major fleet organization to run CSI-MAXIMUS FEAi(TM) software using CSI-MAXIMUS as its Application Service Provider (ASP). In this configuration, CSI-MAXIMUS will provide VehiCare with the CSI-MAXIMUS FEAi software, as well as complete hosting services, including all maintenance and upgrades to the FEAi software. VehiCare will have 24-hour access to its FEAi(TM) system and database over a secure network and receive a flat monthly bill for hosting services.

VehiCare will be running the CSI-MAXIMUS FEAi software system at 20 maintenance facilities to keep track of a total fleet of over 24,000 units. "We expect to double the number of maintenance facilities over the next two years," said Breeden, "and the ASP model will make it quick and easy to deploy the system at these new facilities."

VehiCare provides onsite as well as in-shop preventive maintenance and repairs for fleets of trucks, trailers, forklifts and utility and construction vehicles. The company specializes in providing customized maintenance services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
