), visionary pioneers in the field of preventive health screening technology, today announced results of a comprehensive survey of over 2,000 healthcare consumers who use CSI health stations in 30 retail locations around the country. Findings indicate that consumers value the services provided by patented CSI technology and that the CSI health stations will draw the majority back for repeat usage within one month.

Commissioned by Orthobiotech, the survey was designed to determine how consumers are using CSI's patented health stations in retail pharmacy settings as well as the demographic profile A demographic or demographic profile is a term used in marketing and broadcasting, to describe a demographic grouping or a market segment. This typically involves age bands (as teenagers do not wish to purchase denture fixant), social class bands (as the rich may want  of users. Of the more than 2000 consumers who responded over the two-week survey period, 85% of respondents were using the CSI health station to check weight and blood pressure, 28% reported having used the CSI health station more than 10 times, and nearly 69% indicated plans to revisit re·vis·it

"This survey yielded extraordinary results in a very short period of time," says Charles Bluth, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. "We learned that health care consumers want to be proactive in managing their health and that screening technology in familiar surroundings is a valuable tool in their process," continues Bluth.

Nearly 20% of respondents indicated that the reason for their visit to the retail pharmacy was specifically to use the CSI health station. 19% were waiting to fill a prescription and 29% were there to purchase general merchandise. Respondents were evenly distributed among all age groups, with more men (55%) participating than women.

CSI selected the 30 retail locations where the survey was conducted based on geographic spread. Consumers were invited to participate in the survey through interactive features that comprise the health station.

"We knew that CSI health stations represent superior technology, and we knew that consumer satisfaction is a large part of why there is 4 times the usage of older health monitoring technology," says Bluth. "This survey proves the value of the health station as a consumer health tool, but we were also extremely pleased with the results as they demonstrate the potential of the health station as a dynamic consumer research tool," continues Bluth.
