CSI Names Steve Powless Chief Executive Officer.

PADUCAH, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 26, 1999--

The Board of Directors of Computer Services, Inc. (CSI)(stock symbol: CSVI) announced today that Steven A. Powless was named Chief Executive Officer of the Company, a position held by John A. Williams, who continues as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Powless will add the CEO position to his existing role as CSI's President. Mr. Williams will remain active in new business ventures and strategic planning for CSI.

"Steve has earned the title of CEO, having served as CSI's President and Chief Operating Officer since 1993. Mr. Powless joined CSI in 1987, was named Executive-Vice President in 1989, and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 1992. He currently serves on the Paducah Public Library Board of Trustees, is Director of Greater Paducah Economic Development Council and Director of West Kentucky Technical School foundation board, is a member of Leadership Kentucky and is Technology Chair for the St. Mary School System. He also is past President and Director for the Association of Financial Technology.
