Aviation Services is now able to offer government customers air charter services at pre-negotiated discount pricing through the U.S. General Services Administration The General Services Administration (GSA) was established by section 101 of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (40 U.S.C.A. § 751). The GSA sets policy for and manages government property and records.  (GSA (1) (Global mobile Suppliers Association, Sawbridgeworth, U.K., www.gsacom.com) A membership organization of suppliers of GSM products and services. CSI, the oldest and largest aircraft charter management company of its kind, is one of a select few air charter companies to be placed on the GSA's schedule for purposes of emergency response and law enforcement. The company is the only air charter management provider on the schedule offering charter services on a full range of aircraft including airliners, executive jets and turbo-props.

Schedules are long-term governmentwide contracts established by the GSA with commercial firms. The purpose is to offer federal agencies the ability to purchase services and products conveniently, efficiently, and at discount pricing. All orders placed through GSA schedules are considered full and open competition, which saves contracting officers A US military officer or civilian employee who has a valid appointment as a contracting officer under the provisions of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. "The GSA schedule is yet another contracting vehicle CSI can offer government agencies. Not only does this make it easier and more efficient for federal and state contracting officers to charter aircraft from our company, but it also allows them to purchase from a small, service-disabled, veteran-owned business," said Gretchen Collins, director of business development for CSI.

Placement on the GSA schedule allows CSI to provide air charter management services to federal agencies, state agencies, and various activities and organizations.
