CSI Announces Introduction of New NIBP Monitor.

MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 2000

CRITICARE SYSTEMS, INC. (NASDAQ-NMS: CXIM) today announced the introduction of its new ComfortCuff(TM) blood pressure monitor. This unique system, patented by CSI, takes measurements while exerting considerably lower cuff pressure during inflation. The sensing technology allows for rapid identification of flow closure, which prevents the "extreme squeeze" typical of conventional systems. While patient comfort for the general population is increased, the system is particularly friendly to pediatric and elderly patients. The monitor also features external communications capabilities. Worldwide distribution is expected to begin in six weeks.
