A recurring character is a fictional character, usually in a prime time TV series, who is not a main character but who appears from time to time during the series' run.

But when the episode aired in December, the scene where Bobby discusses his lover and adopted daughter with series star Marg Helgenberger had been trimmed to omit all references to Bobby's personal life.

So What happened? "The producers said that because the show never really delves Delves is a village in County Durham, in England. It is situated a short distance to the south of Consett.  into the personal lives of any of the characters, the moment came across like a misleading story line," explains McCullouch, who used some of his earnings from CSI to direct the gay-themed short film The Moment After. "It made it seem like my daughter was Going to be kidnapped or something crime-oriented. It stuck out."
