CSCI Awarded Five-Year, $10M U.S. Army Contract; Supports Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics.


SPRINGFIELD, Va. -- Computer Systems Center Incorporated (CSCI (Computer Software Configuration Item) A group of software treated as a single entity by a configuration management (CM) system. See configuration management.

) announced today that it has recently signed an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with the U.S. Army worth an estimated total amount of $10 million over a span of five years. Under the terms announced, CSCI will provide systems and mission integration, joint force application analysis and technical program support for the Office of Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics The Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics is the title of a high-level civilian official in the United States Department of Defense. The Undersecretary of Defense for Policy is the principal staff assistant and advisor to both the Secretary of Defense , Warfare Analysis Division, Pentagon.

This contract is one of 15 task orders, contracts and sub-contracts awarded to CSCI in the past year. The new contract means that CSCI will be expanding its workforce.
