(NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :CSC) has been awarded a contract to provide telecommunications systems engineering and software development support to the Department of Defense. The multimillion dollar contract has a period of performance of five years. CSC will be responsible for providing a full range of systems development services in support of a DoD Advanced Technology Center. Services include systems engineering, software development, testing and training. The contract work will be performed by CSC's Systems Engineering Division and involve approximately 100 computer specialists in support of the contract. Teaming with CSC are TRW's Maryland Engineering Lab; Science Applications International Corp.; and Computer Systems Specialists Inc., a subsidiary of Nichols Research, all located in Columbia, Md.
