CSC wins $8 million task order to deploy interface system for FAA.FALLS CHURCH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 15, 1997--Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :CSC) has been awarded a task order to deploy a common data communications interface to 20 air traffic control facilities operating under the FAA's National Airspace System network. The award is the largest task order awarded to CSC under the National Institutes of Health's Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners (CIOSP CIOSP Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners CIOSP Common Inspection Onsite Software Package ) and could be valued at $8 million if all options are exercised during a five-year performance period. The CIOSP contract was awarded last August as an indefinite- delivery/indefinite-quantity procurement vehicle available for use by any federal agency.
