:CSC) has entered into a 10-year outsourcing agreement with San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay.  Gas & Electric (SDG&E), a leading West Coast utility.

CSC's agreement with SDG&E calls for it to provide mainframe processing and operations support.

Other utilities supported by CSC include United Illuminating Co., a New Haven, Conn.-based utility that signed a 10-year outsourcing pact with the company in 1993.

CSC's contract with SDG&E marks the third major outsourcing agreement announced by the company in the past month. Other clients include Mutual of New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
, which is negotiating a seven-year contract; and Scott Paper, which signed a one-year contract with two additional one-year options and provisions for the negotiation of a full 10-year agreement.

Computer Sciences has $2.9 billion in annual revenues, about 55% of which comes from commercial clients and the rest from the U.S. government.

The company has headquarters in El Segundo, and has 30,000 employees in 450 offices, primarily in the United States, Europe and Pacific Rim countries. CSC provides clients with a wide range of professional services including management consulting; business reengineering; and information systems consulting, integration, and outsourcing.
