(NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :CSC) has been awarded a subcontract by DynCorp, based in Reston, Va., to provide information support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services to the Department of Energy (DOE). The task-order contract is valued at a total of $40 million over five years if all options are exercised. CSC will provide data processing data processing or information processing, operations (e.g., handling, merging, sorting, and computing) performed upon data in accordance with strictly defined procedures, such as recording and summarizing the financial transactions of a and software development to DynCorp in support of the Department of Energy's Office of Information Management at DOE headquarters in Germantown, Md. Currently, the DOE operates more than 520 administrative and business software systems, many of which it will modernize and upgrade. The DOE has three principle missions: energy programs, weapons and waste management, and science and technology.
