 to the Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center The Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center (NCCOSC) is the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command's (SPAWAR's) warfare center for command, control, communications, and ocean surveillance.  in San Diego.

The contract is valued at $4.9 million over five years.

CSC will support the Caribbean Regional Operations Center (CARIBROC CARIBROC Caribbean Regional Operations Center (US Navy) ) with independent verification and validation (testing) Independent Verification and Validation - (IV&V) The verification and validation of a software product by an organisation that is both technically and managerially separate from the organisation responsible for developing the product.  (IV&V) and system engineering services. The center is a shore-based facility that provides surveillance, tracking and air intercept control in designated operational areas. IV&V involves the evaluation of systems under development to ensure compliance with design requirements.

CSC has been supporting the CARIBROC program since 1990 with a variety of IV&V services.

Contract work will be performed by CSC's Systems Engineering Division based in San Diego.
